We’ve been reading the 2020 Trust Barometer by communication firm Edelman and the news isn’t great for employers. Even pre-pandemic (the research was completed in November 2019) workers were losing faith in their employers and institutions.
Things took a turn last year. 55% fear being left behind. 48% believe the system is failing them. They fear losing their job thanks to the freelance gig economy, the looming recession, lack of training and skills. There’s a lot more.
